Paul Briggs [1977] died in November 2022, aged 62. With A Levels in Geography and Business Studies and General Studies, Paul went into the printing industry, first with Stanley Press, later as MD of Mark Andy Ltd, and then with Xeikon, before setting up on his own as Web Converting Solutions in 2018. His main interest was in hockey, where, having played 1st XI at school, he went on to play – and tour – with the Kobblers [the old boys club], as well as for Disley, Bramhall and Alderley Edge hockey clubs.
