Paul has written a number of books and plays over the years, with topics from The Silk Roads to Shakespeare, but history has remained his first love.Moreover, he has always been quick to highlight the enormous impact his history teachers at King's had in his formative years.

After King's Paul went to study history at New College, Oxford. He now lives and works in Sydney Australia. Those from this era may also remember Paul's father, G.P.Wilson, Head of English at King's for so many years.
